PUAFER008 Confine small workplace emergencies
Historically, statistics indicate, that we are most likely to be confronted with an medical or fire related emergency in the workplace. Therefore, it is important that our emergency plan identify procedures for preparedness, ©️ response and recovery for related emergencies. In conjunction with emergency warden training Confine small workplace emergencies (PUAFER008) provide skills that will help to reduce the risk and combat real emergencies. In this lesson STG Fire Safety Training will provide mentoring and a skill level which will help to keep yourself and other safe while the emergency services are responding.
The building code of Australia and associated standards provide occupant of facilities with some great equipment to combat incident when they occur. The first time an occupant uses this equipment shouldn’t be when an emergency occurs as there are a few functions that may be problematic and potentially cause an unsafe situation; I.e. using a foam extinguisher on a computer fire. Foam extinguishers are water based and therefore will conduct electricity.
Here are many of the skills you will learn during ©️ Confine small workplace emergencies (PUAFER008) – Fire Extinguishers.
